About me
I developed a passion for seasonal and project-based cross curricular learning. I set about making it my mission to create bespoke learning experiences , following their interests to inspire intrinsic motivation and holistic growth, all whilst paying attention to the natural rhythms of the Earth to help young people develop their understanding of the wider world and build a sense of belonging.
As a new mum, I’m now bringing these values into my own home — exploring activities inspired by the seasons and a holistic, creative curriculum, with my little one. I will also be sharing resources that help other families do the same. I believe there is a need for unplugged learning and making time for young people to step away from screens. We live in an increasingly digital world, and I feel passionately about offering a low-tech, high imagination alternative so that you can build some screen-free learning into your home curriculum. This is why I am working on building a bank of resources to help facilitate nature connection and unplugged learning
Please join my mailing list if you would like to be updated when I launch my resources that are designed to guide learning through the seasons, support different developmental stages, and bring a little more magic into everyday moments.
Whole & Wild Learning is my way of sharing everything I’ve learned — and everything I’m still discovering — with families who want education to feel wholehearted, inclusive, and rooted in the wild.

I’m a qualified teacher with over 12 years of experience supporting SEND learners in specialist settings. My journey has taken me through mainstream classes, to specialist settings, through to outdoor education. I have worked with learners with additional needs of all ages from the EYFS right up to Post 16.
I am passionate about working with young people who just need that special approach to unlock their potential, and I’m skilled at building relationships and creating unique curriculum’s for children that are totally centred around their interests and strengths but also crucially in a way that addresses their challenges in a way that builds confidence and engagement.
As a neuro-diverse person myself, I have felt the stigma and shame that comes with being educated by people with no lived experience, and do not “get it”. Sometimes the most simple change can make a huge difference to a young person, but it takes the right pair of eyes to see what that change could be. This takes time, specialist understanding and a level of attention that sadly many class teachers are unable to offer due to the funding crisis and soaring workloads.
Working in a Holistic SEND setting was a huge inspiration for me. I saw firsthand how seasonal rhythms and developmental stages . That experience sparked my deep interest the ways the earth’s cycles shape our inner worlds.
Around this time, whilst working as a class teacher, I became a Level 3 Forest School Leader, driven by a desire to create spaces where children who don’t “fit” into traditional classrooms could thrive. After founding my own outdoor education program within the school I was working at, I witnessed incredible transformation in learners when they were in nature.
