Tailored 1:1 support designed to build trust, emotional regulation, and confidence. Sessions blend nature-rooted activities, digital design tools, and sensory-aware learning.

  • EOTAS Support: Comprehensive, long-term educational packages for pupils accessing Education Otherwise Than At School (EOTAS).

  • Holiday Confidence Boosters: Short-term, targeted 4-to-6 week intensives during school breaks to rebuild confidence in maths and literacy without pressure.

  • Flexible Learning Environments: Available in-person outdoors, in low-demand indoor setups, or online.

Every session is completely bespoke, and planned in consultation with care-givers and young people to prioritise safety, connection, and emotional regulation first. To ensure high-quality specialist support remains accessible, Whole & Wild Learning operates a Solidarity Pricing Model, allowing families to choose the rate tier that fits their financial circumstances:

  • Standard Rate (£65 / hour): A sustainable rate for a qualified specialist teacher with over 13 years of experience. Includes ongoing communication, end-of-block written progress reports, and attendance at one annual EHCP meeting for long-term bookings.

    A 5% discount applies when booking blocks of 4 or more sessions upfront.

  • Pay-It-Forward Rate (£70+ / hour): Designed for families who feel able to contribute a little extra to directly subsidise the Community Rate for another family.

  • Community Rate (£45 / hour): A reduced rate to assist families where finances are a barrier (spaces are limited).

What Your Hourly Rate Covers:

Behind every 60-minute session is at least one full hour of non-contact specialist work:

  • In-depth consultations with care-givers.

  • Preparation and creation of bespoke sensory and educational materials.

  • Post-session communication and progress tracking.

  • Standard learning materials and art supplies.

  • End-of-block written progress reports.

  • Attendance at one annual EHCP meeting for long-term bookings.

Small-group specialist tutoring brought directly to your home or community space.

Designed for small groups of home-educated children (max 5) who want to collaborate on high-interest, cross-curricular projects.

You can choose a pre-designed literacy adventure or work together to design a completely custom project.

Past pods have included:

  • Game Design & Mods: Creating original game concepts, character sprites, and digital world-building.

  • Creative Media & Storytelling: Stop-motion animation, shadow puppet theatre, and group audiobook recording.

Booking Terms & Policies

  • Block Commitments: Sessions are booked in 4-session blocks to maintain stability.

  • After the first four sessions, ad-hoc 1:1 sessions are available if paid at least 48 hours in advance.

  • Sibling Discount: A 10% discount applies for siblings attending the same group.

  • Payment Terms: Full payment for Home Ed Pods and 1:1 tutoring is required 7 days prior to the first session.

  • Cancellation Policy: Notice of at least 24 hours is required for cancellations. One emergency cancellation per school term is permitted without charge.

Creative Literacy & Phonics Clubs

(Note: Group clubs are currently on pause for public enrolment, but all programmes are available to book as private Home Education Pods. Register your interest for upcoming community term dates.)

  • Myth Makers: A literacy adventure club structured around Norse mythology, epic battles, and visual storytelling for young people who love immersive stories but struggle with writing.

  • Wiggly Phonics: An active, movement-based reading club for younger children (ages 4–8) who need to move to learn. Uses embodied learning and sensory actions to help sounds stick in memory far better than traditional flashcards.

  • Wild Words: The outdoor, Forest School-inspired version of Wiggly Phonics—anchoring letter sounds to real-life nature experiences, natural materials, and outdoor exploration.
